About Us

How are clubs & societies run?

Clubs and Societies are run by students who have been elected by their peers. Your Students' Union trains and supports these volunteers.

About us- Who are we and what we do?

The Islamic Society (ISoc) at Leeds Trinity University aims to cater for the intellectual, spiritual and social needs of Muslim students. The ISoc is a platform for students to engage with social, cultural and educational activities as well as raise awareness of issues affecting Muslims both locally and nationally. We aspire:

  • To provide a forum where Muslim students can meet and get to know each other through recreational, educational and charity events
  • To organise events for Muslims and Non-Muslims to gain a deeper knowledge and an understanding of Islam
  • To look out for the welfare of Muslim students on campus

The ISoc will help you to develop your confidence, character and skills and form bonds of brotherhood and sisterhood. We aim to create an inclusive atmosphere that is open to Muslims and non-Muslims alike so regardless of your beliefs, we hope you will find a home in the ISoc.
