World Mental Health Day 2023

Today is World Mental Health Day. World Mental Health Day is so important as it’s a chance to talk about mental health, the importance of looking after it and how important it is to know where to access support when we are struggling. If you feel as though you are in need of support, there are a number of services that you can use on Campus and external to Campus.

@The LTSU Advice service- provide support and advice for concerns regarding mental health, sexual health, wellbeing, housing and finances. To book a 1-1 with Matt follow the link in their bio.

Student support services are available 7 days a week and can provide mental health support. You can book an appointment via MYLTUAPP. Appointments are available both in person and via teams.

@Student mental health and wellbeing team – are there to help you with any mental health concerns you may have. They offer Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, counselling, and their very own online wellbeing module. You can refer to yourself via MYLTU APP.

@Ltu Chaplaincy – they often host tea on the landing every Wednesday, where you can grap a tea or coffee and have a general chat. The Chaplaincy provides a safe space for prayer or self-reflection in the Chapel.

@Resident Mentors- are also available for support and are based in your accommodation.
