Harehills Incident

homepagebannerlatestnews

To all,

I want to personally reassure you that we are fully aware of the recent incident that happened in Harehills on the 18th July and how it has affected our community. We understand the impact this has had on our students, and we are committed to addressing their concerns and providing the support they need during this challenging time.

We want to make is known that our campus in Horsforth is around 30 minutes away from where the issues has happened and we are safe. We have procedures set up if anything happens. I wish that everyone is safe and that if there is any support needed from people in the area or further afield then we are there to support in any way that we can. I want to ensure students that are looking to come to Leeds Trinity University or even the local area that it is something we are dealing with as we know a lot of public transport would normally go through that area.

We have resources and support services available, and we encourage students to reach out if they need assistance or someone to talk to. We are here to help and support each student in any way we can.

Please know that my thoughts are with everyone affected by this incident. We are committed to providing the necessary support and resources to help you through this challenging time. If you have any concerns or need assistance, do not hesitate to reach out at SUAdvice@leedstrinity.ac.uk

Take care and stay safe.

Regards,

Asim Mahmood
