Constitution
A constitution is your commitment for the year. It outlines your club/societies membership as well as your long and short term aims for the year, this means your student union can also support you through the year. No events can be planned without this.
No memberships can be bought which means no finances!
We only need one constitution to be filled out per club or society each year, so please make sure you have discussed this as a full committee.

LTSU Bye-Laws
The Bye-Laws that predominantly relate to our student groups are Bye-Law 3 and Bye-Law 5. These documents are reviewed by your Union and can help you navigate your time as a committee member.
Bye Law 3
Bye Law 3 covers the LTSU procedures and general behaviours. If you have any concerns or disciplinary complaints that come to you from committees, this is going to be the main bye-law that you follow.
Bye Law 5
Bye Law 5 is specific to Clubs and Societies. It walks you through all the procedures relevant to them such as starting/adopting Clubs and Societies, finances, events and anything else involving Clubs and Societies and the general running of them.
Bye Law 6
Social media and media usage
All of the LTSU Bye-Laws can be found on the governance section of our website, it is suggested that you read these when you get a chance. You will likely refer back to these through the year. Governance
